Doreen Okwiri is the senior Partner at the Firm having taken the leadership realm and continued to steer the firm to great heights of success since the founding of the firm in 2018.
She holds an LL. B Degree from the University of Nairobi and a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and awaiting graduation for post graduate master’s degree from University of Nairobi. She was admitted to the Bar as an advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 2018.
Doreen worked with the firm of Mamicha & Co Advocates from 2017 to 2019 before establishing her law firm under the name of Okwiri & Associates Advocates.
She has amassed a wealth of experience over the years in litigation practices, legislative drafting, procurement law, public interest claims, defamation, insurance law, criminal law, Land Law Practice, Securitization and Project Financing, General Conveyance Practice, Corporate Governance, Banking and Finance laws, Legal Advisory to Development Finance Institutions, Commercial Law, Debt Restructuring and Debt Management and Debt Recovery.
Doreen has played a pivotal role in advising client banks in matters concerning various matters both on leaseholds and freehold interests on property especially in the ongoing real estate and construction boom and has been involved in a number of building projects.
