James Wanyande Ratego holds an LL.B from university of Nairobi having graduated in December 2005 and LL.M Degree from Leeds University (UK) in 2008. James has a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. He was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 2007 and is a Certified Public Secretary (CPS) and a professional mediator.
James has gained experience in the fields of legislative drafting, legal Audit, debt recovery, litigation, defamation, family law, banking and finance law and practice, property transactions, commercial banking, intellectual property, aviation and banking regulation with a record of accomplishment of objective analysis and resolution of business issues.
Prior to joining the Firm in 2020, he was a legal officer at the National Cohesion and Integration Commission for a period of five (5) years.
